Emily Carr

we visited an art museum last Friday and it was really fun. we learned about a famous canadian painter Emily Carr. From her work i can see that she loves native culture theme and environment theme.

Lots of her work express her idea about all kinds of culture events and her life goals. Some pictures make people feel happy, but most of her works show out her sadness and depression.

Sometimes she worried about the Canada's environment and sometimes she cared about native people's lives, and she use her pictures to record and express her own idea.

I like some of her pics but some of them are hard to understand, they are hard to tell meanings. i like this kind of activity cuz it was fun and we learned a lot from it, and it is worth to spend 10 bucks to learn something meaningful. But i really dont like the lights in the musuem because they made me sleepy.............................zzzz......eventhough i wanted to see more pics but i left early because i was almost fall into sleep~~......................

Loooong Weekend

Its great that we are taking a reading day holiday... but actually im doing nothing about study..well, at least im still doing my blog!

Its very exciting that we are finishing this program very soon and im planning to go to Vancouver with my roomates this winter holiday and im looking forward to it.

One of my roomates is going back to China this December, and i really envy her.....................................anyway, i'll have fun in vanvouver for sure!

well, i know i have to finish the eap program frist.... and i'll work hard to do my work, especially to get a B plus on my writing..hopefully..

It is because i really dont want to take the effective writing class. i dont know why, i just feel it would be really hard to pass. Therefore, i need to work harder now to make sure that i dont need to take a effective writing test.......

One of my friend is taking the effective writing class, eventhough he never said its hard, i still hope i dont need to take it . I know that we are going to have lots of assignments to do when we start our university life. I am not afraid of doing homework, but i am concerned about my English communicating skills.... i m worried about if im good enough....

Anyways, if i can graduate from EAP program, that means im ready to go to the university. Right?

Okay, im going to go to bed now eventhough its only 10pm.. I believe its good for my health!haha...

Flying Dreams

Have you ever had a flying dream? I had one when i was only about 10 years old, and unlike any other dream, i can remember this dream clearly.

it was really fun and comfortable. therefore, i wrote about flying dreams in my fourth major eassy because i was very curious about flying dreams.

A research says that people who are creative and lucid dreamers are more likely to have flying dreams.

i think in my case, im a creative person because i love painting, and i love to design pics by myself.

I have tried many times to have another flying dream, but i failed. i dont know why maybe im less creative than before..haha..

i will never forget how floating in the sky feels. it was amazing and incredible confortable. Anyway, i will keep trying to have another flying dream by telling myself this: Im going to have a flying dream... again and again... im not sure if it works, but thats how on-line psychologist says, so i will try it anyway eventhough it seems unbelievable....
